What is it?

Activities that intergrate fitness, music & arts, through musical storytelling, to give empowerment, engagement & involvement for healthy ageing.

Why? 

For physical health:

* Our metabolism naturally slows with age, hence, to maintain a healthy weight can become a challenge. Regular exercise can help to increase our metabolism, build muscle mass, in turn, help our body to burn more calories.

* With exercise, we can improve our immune and digestive functioning, and have better blood pressure and bone density. There’s also a lower risk of obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, heart and Alzheimer’s disease, and certain cancers.

* With exercise, we can improve on our strength, flexibility, and posture, which can help with our balance and coordination, to reduce our risk of falls.

* Exercises with some strength training can help alleviate the symptoms of chronic conditions such as arthritis.

For mental health:

* Regular activties can help us fall asleep faster, sleep better, and wake up feeling more refreshed.

* Exercise is a stress reliever. The endorphins produced can help reduce feelings of sadness, depression, and anxiety.

* With exercise, it can help to prevent memory loss, cognitive decline, and dementia, and possibly help slow the progression of brain disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease.

How? 

We integrate physical activties, music and arts, through musical storytelling of their beautiful memories, to create their stories, so as to empower, engage and involve our everbright seniors, for healthy ageing.

Outcome? 

Our participants to feel happy and energised, and to maintain good health for good quality living, while we walk through the silver path together.
