Strings For Kindness
Strings for Kindness is a ground-up movement of the Singapore Kindness Movement and National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre #CityofGood. It is an ensemble of young string players who love to bring kindness to people, through music.

3am Music Collective
3am Music Collective is a collaboration of musicians of different ethnicity & age groups to create various genres of music, to give hope & show empathy to people with troubled minds.
The Musical-Story Journey:
We have collaborated with almost 30 musicians to produce 10 songs that run like a story, think “theatre”, to depict the psycho-social & emotional journey of a person suffering from a mental health condition.
This musical-story journey was created as we wanted to give hope to people who are currently going through depression. When they hear the inspirational, and carefully crafted music from 3am Music Collective, we want to give them love and hope, that the sun will still shine even at 3am.
We also want to use the musical-story to share with the community, the diifficult journey that we go through. We want to recover, so pls help us by showing us some empathy.
We were blessed to have had the opportunity to collaborate with National Council of Social Service, with the support from the National Youth Council, to perform these inspirational songs at the Beyond The Label Virtual Festival 2020. Watch here.

Moving On:
We continue to collaborate with musicians to create music that give hope & show empathy to people with troubled minds, to continue to share stories of their journey. When the musicians sing about love and hope, through their music, they empower not only themselves but for others too – that they too can recover and lead a beautiful life.

The Violin Travels
#TheViolinTravels around the world, to explore new ideas, so as to uplift our spirits to bring joy, happiness and love to the people around the world.
The idea was first sparked in 2010 when the founder dreamt of cycling round the world with her violin on her back, to make music with the local community and to spread laughter and optimism to everyone. More than ten years later, the idea was born.
Together with Chap Chee on the percussion & Mabel Lim on the piano, the music pieces are melodious, catchy, and can sometimes tickle some smiles with the variation of timbre, texture and tone of the instruments.
The Violin Travels is part of the Chai360 musical ecosystem where people of all ages & from all walks of life, come together to chat about, collaborate and make music, with the theme of “Giving Through Music”.
